A collection of Documentary projects I have worked on within my first year of Film Production at University of Lincoln.
Broken Cycles
Broken Cycles is a documentary based on a service user that sought out help through the organisation FrameWork
Framework is a company that helps people get off the streets and into safe accommodations.
During the three months working with him, my group and I had started to grow attached to him and his journey, seeking out ways to portray his journey on the road to recovery in the best possible light.
Passion Through Music
During my time here I was able to work with Joe Townsley the manager and owner, who very kindly allowed us to interview himself as well as a fellow pupil who, to my group and I found to have a very impactful story.
My role within this Documentary was Cinematographer.
This relatively, was my first time being properly and professionally behind the camera and actually maintaining the different shots and composition. Which made me in my role quite nerve-wracking but with proper research beforehand and knowledge from workshops I was able to come into the role with more confidence and an idea on how I want things to be perceived.
There were challenges that my group and I had faced which did have an impact on some of my skill on the camera, but overall what my group and I have produced is what we believe to be best quality considering our predicaments and us being First Year University Students.
