Hi, I am Zoë Seaton, a 19 year-old inspiring filmmaker! On this page, you will find information about me and what I am striving to do.
I am South African, and originally moved to England in 2016 at age 11.
My transition between countries, nonetheless, whole continents was difficult. Going from the middle of Grade 4 (end of year 5) straight into Grade 6 (beginning of year 7)
From there I had found comfort in re-watching films and tv series that I had essentially grew up on such as, the animated Afrikaans version of Heidi.
However, film was something I discovered as a potential career quite late – in Year 12, where the aspect of future careers came as a topic during one of my tutoring sessions. At first, I was bewildered by the fact that I could even think nor have the actual skill to produce amazing art that would some day be screened to millions across the world.
But from further research and my love for film made it all that much possible.
I am now currently undergoing my 2nd Year of Film Production at the University of Lincoln. This is where I found myself to be continuously falling in love with film and it’s workings further.
